About Christmas Grand Market

In Jamaica, Grand Market is the festive Christmas Eve tradition of shopping, music, food and street celebration. Braata Productions, a New York nonprofit that shares Caribbean folk culture through music and theater, brings that tradition to New York City's Caribbean communities. It's a family-friendly Christmas event for anyone looking for Jamaican and Caribbean holiday celebrations in Queens, Brooklyn or the Bronx.

Christmas Grand Market is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature, with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, additional support from the Howard Gilman Foundation, and a grant from the New York City Tourism Foundation. Event details come from the organizer and may change; check with Braata Productions before you go.
