Generations Family Health Center is a private, nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that has served eastern Connecticut since 1984. It sees patients regardless of their ability to pay, with or without insurance. Its Support Services team helps anyone, patient or not, get past the things that keep people from care: no coverage, confusing forms, no ride, not enough food.

What it costs

No one turned away for inability to pay

Generations serves patients regardless of their ability to pay. Its Sliding Fee Discount Program sets your fee based on household income and size, for medical, dental and behavioral health care. It's open to people who are uninsured, underinsured or facing high out-of-pocket costs, and it can lower copays, coinsurance and deductibles for people with insurance.

Sliding fee forms are available in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole. Payment plans are available through Billing at 860-450-7471, and a Prescription Assistance Program can help with medication costs. Ask your provider.
